Week 48: Boxed Toy Bot Bolts Store

BREAKING NEWS FROM REUTERS NEWS SERVICE: Toy robot escapes its box from toy store Lark Toys in Kellogg, Minnesota, a town located 95 miles south of Minneapolis.

No word yet on whether or not the box with the robot inside ever made it to a display shelf in the store, or if it was still in a back storage room.

According to a child on the scene, who wished to remain anonymous, the robot had plans to explore, but was too distracted by all of the fun opportunities directly inside and outside Lark Toys to get very far.

The robot particularly enjoyed the novelty of a clown standee outside the store's main entrance. Robot is currently talking with store management for a permanent position at the toy store as a standee-testing bot. No word yet as to how those negotiations are going.

This robot's box has not yet been found.
