INSPIRED BY THE SHORT documentary-like videos featured every so often on Sesame Street, I decided to finally make my own. The perfect opportunity arose when friend Aaron Landry coordinated a day trip to The Pizza Farm in Stockholm, Wisconsin.
I think my voice is perfect for this particular project, as I am still hoarse and nasal from getting over a cold. I remember the kids on the Sesame Street videos sounding vaguely the same way.

I love it.
Awesome! You just needed a chorus of kids shouting animal names or letters and it would've been perfect!
Did they raise pigs too? I liked the baby goats with baby goat beards.
Fantastic! We went to Pizza Farm last week. Definitely going back when it warms up a bit.
dude... the narration here = TOP notch, nice work.
So that's where pizza comes from. I dig it.
Perfect. And love the link to the Llama song. I remember seeing that as a kid and I asked my mom why the singer sounded like she did. My mom said, "She's probably on drugs."
Changed my life.
Haha, that video is excellent! You have a future in mock-sesame street videos.
rich_g: I'm not sure about pigs. Their menu says they raise "happy pigs," though I'm glad I didn't see them. I'm glad we got veggie pizza; I mean, when you're meeting the animals who make your pizza, eating meat got little more difficult that day.
Sharyn: I will definitely be going back throughout the summer!
solace: Ha! Thanks!
Ed: for the longest time I thought it grew on trees, too. Don't feel ashamed. I don't.
Krissy: I won't be able to watch Me and My Llama in the same light again. That's a great story.
Funkstrong: If I end up making a bunch of these, I'm totally sending a reel to Sesame Street.
This video - that's when it all changed.
Amazing. Your little kid narration, the music, and the storytelling are, frankly, fucking fantastic.
There can be no more perfect video than this one. This is it, THIS is the one.
Also I would like to go there sometime and I never heard of pizza farm
I was tooling around your flickr site and noticed your attraction to statues. You should flickr search vining, mn. Thems some good statues. Good pizza video BTW, makes me wanna go.
Stockholm is totally rad. They have bikes you can just borrow on the honor system and ride around.
A roommate I had in '98 would sing the llama song with me.
Oh, and your voice is just perfect for it! A nasally kid, or perhaps a kid who found their mom's stash of bourbon. ;)
omg i cracked up. yes i remember those sesame street videos! AHAHAHAHAHA.
and i love the name of your blog. ooh, foxy.
Awesome video!!! Just found your site and I'm hooked!
Favourite videos so far other than Wall-E because that's #1:
